18 months ago, I decided it was time for a change. My training was going well but I wasn’t feeling the response I wanted from the work I was putting in. I felt tired and sluggish, and I knew that nutrition was the missing piece to the puzzle. I messed around on my own with an online macro calculator and generalized nutrition advice which got the ball rolling and taught me how to track. In a few months I saw some changes aesthetically but also felt my training volume diminish at a rapid rate. My runs felt taxing, and my strength was dropping off tremendously. 24 weeks ago, I found Black Iron Nutrition and began to work with Carly. ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER. I love the platform that BIN has set up for online coaching and Carly was fantastic at figuring out how to properly fuel me for my goals. When I was unsure, she was there to reassure me of the process, and she was amazing to have in my corner to celebrate my successes. In May I PR'd my half marathon time by 9 minutes and almost every single week my strength has continued to improve. I could not recommend BIN and specifically Carly more!

Adam is an absolute RAD dude. Dad, soccer coach, husband, and one of the hardest workers I've met. Even with a very challenging and demanding schedule he always got it done, and with that, he also learned to give himself a little more wiggle room and grace when needed, which was a huge step. Due to his work hours, and coaching traveling soccer sleep was not ideal, BUT we worked hard and I was so thrilled with that progress he made to give himself a couple hours extra each day. We increased intake a ton, and he saw big progress in endurance and strength work!
