Pregnant and early postpartum women who are looking for individualized one-on-one pregnancy and postpartum nutrition, movement, and mindset coaching and support during and/or after pregnancy to ensure you are meeting both your nutrition and wellness needs, as well as those of your growing baby.

How It Works

Once your application is processed, you’ll create a client profile by setting up payment and filling out a very detailed questionnaire for your coach. Upon its return, your coach will then create your nutrition plan and officially welcome you to the BIN community.  If you are doing a FIT option, you will be added to the training program at this time. You will start tracking your food and habits, then check in with your coach weekly–each week working on ways to improve the health of your pregnancy.

DETAILED ON-BOARDING

When you join Black Iron Nutrition we’ll ask you to complete our detailed on-boarding form. We want to know everything there is to know about you in order to create a plan that you can not only stick to but will yield the results you seek.

WEEKLY CHECK-INS

You will check in with your coach weekly through the software, and in that check in, we ask it all! How you slept, hunger levels, energy levels, how we can best help you, how your training went, and so on.

PROGRESS TRACKING

From your profile you can see your progress over time. Body weight, measurements and photos are uploaded each week to keep track of your progress.

FOOD DIARY SYNCING

Our software syncs with Cronometer, MyFitnessPal, MyMacros+, Apple and Google Health. By using one of these apps to track your food, you can easily sync your food diary each week when you’re submitting your check in.

HEALTH STAT SYNCING

Our software also syncs with Apple Health, Fitbit, and Google Health Integration to shows us your daily steps, sleep and resting heart rate. These are useful tools for helping us to understand and analyze your progress each week.

HABIT TRACKING

If you’re struggling with certain aspects of your nutrition or just looking to become more consistent with something, habit tracking is a helpful way to make sure you’re implementing those changes.
