I began my journey with Black Iron Nutrition a year ago in August 2022 and it has been truly life changing. I have nothing but great things to say about working with Sabrina and BIN overall. This experience has had such a tremendous impact on me in more ways than I could have imagined.

I decided to join BIN after working with two different nutrition coaching programs that weren't the right fit. I had been a member at my CrossFit gym for almost two years at that point and wanted to keep progressing in the gym while improving my overall health and wellness.

One of the first daily habits Sabrina tasked me with was saying something positive about myself in the mirror each morning. The first few days, I would look in the mirror and cry as I struggled to say something positive about myself. I could compliment anybody else no problem but when it came to myself? No way.

The daily habits and things Sabrina has taught me have now become part of my lifestyle and have shaped me into a completely different person! Yes, I can lift heavier, run faster, row harder, etc at the gym but the biggest win for me is realizing I can do hard things. I am in such a better place mentally and it has carried over into all aspects of my life.

Sabrina has taught me that this experience is a journey, not a destination. She believed in me when I didn't believe in myself and pushed me out of my comfort zone. She helped me develop habits that have become a part of who I am and helped me become the best version of myself. I am forever grateful for the impact she has had on me and the part she played in my journey.

I am no longer the hesitant, shy girl with low self esteem. I am strong, confident, and capable of hard things.

Bryanna came to me just over a year ago with the desire to change her mindset surrounding her body. She told me: “I want to stop feeling like I am at war with my body and start realizing and appreciating all that it has done/will do for me.” Over the last year together, she accomplished that and MORE.

A longer term goal of hers was to lose body fat, but it wasn’t our focus. Our focus was nurturing a healthy relationship with herself, her connection to food, and finding a healthy balance between all aspects of her life.

By getting her to eat more than ever before, we also ended up regulating her menstrual cycle, maximizing her performance in the gym, and truly finding the best version of herself.

Bryanna is the dream client: she does what she says she’s going to do, she reflects consistently on ways to get better, and brings her full dedication to the table. She came to me with some goals, and gave me full trust in the process on our way to get to them. Never was our goal perfection, but each week to just make little adjustments to create that healthy relationship with herself.

The difference between these two pictures? Less than 4lbs! The scale doesn’t tell the full story folks.
