TESTIMONIAL
“How restrictive is the diet that you're on?”

1. I'm not on a diet. Maybe I haven't been clear enough in the posts about my working with BIN... I'm not delusional in saying it isn't a diet. This is literally focusing on eating foods the help with my PCOS, Endo, & thyroid issues. Nothing aesthetic about it. It's all internal.

2. Which leads to this one: It isn't restrictive (I'm also currently in a bit of a surplus from "maintenance"). I'm still eating pizza. Chocolate. CANDY. Oh, and those delicious black & white cookies that you can see Coach Kid giving me (we all know I like my intra-set noms 🤤).

3. Is it expensive? Well... my medical bills are expensive. If this helps get my stuff under control, because it flew out of my hands and beyond my scope of practice - then no, I don't consider it expensive. It's a small price to pay for my health, and keep the need for medical procedures &/or medications at bay for a while longer.

4. Is it hard? Maybe? I dunno. I've got a food science & human nutrition degree, so for me it is clearly different with over 16yrs of nutrition "stuff" under my belt. The Black Iron Nutrition coaches are amazing & incredibly helpful. They'll work with you every step of your journey to keep you working to your goals. Carly has been the best to work with on this journey.

5. Is it something you've gotta commit to long term? Again, depends. What are your goals going in? Where are you at currently with your nutrition? How do you feel? Etc., etc., etc...

You only get one life, one body, if we're not putting in the effort to feel our best, live our best life (which can go hand and hand - PIZZA!), all we're doing is shortchanging ourselves.

I've got this crazy kid in my life, I want to be able to optimally enjoy my time with him while I'm here. I also want to be a better mediocre masters athlete garage lifter person.

I owe it to myself.

Just like each and every one of us owes ourselves health.
