2024 NEW YEAR TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE: 2ND PLACE WINNER

“The progress I’ve made these last 12 weeks has been far beyond what I expected. While I’ve been able to have some success, in the short term, on highly restrictive diets, this is the first time I’ve been able to be consistent in a way that feels healthy and sustainable. The physical transformation has been great. I’ve lost like 12 pounds and multiple inches and am feeling more confident in my clothes. However, I really think the mental progress is more meaningful and more than what I expected.

This is my first time doing a time limited cut, and the idea of that sounds so simple but really was never something that occurred to me to do. I was always going on a diet with no real goal but to have some ambiguous body. So, it would always lead to cheat meals and skipping work outs here and there, then no/slow progress, to negative self talk about how I was failing. This time was totally different.

I was able to stay consistent throughout and feel like I’ve changed my relationship with food and alcohol. I’ve worked on breaking up the relationship between experiencing stress and turning to food/drink to make myself feel better. I’ve built confidence in my ability to set a goal and meet it. I’ve also changed how I think about my body and how I take care of it. I’ve paid more attention to how I feel after eating and how movement affects me even when I’m tired and want to sleep in, lol. Honestly, I could keep going on and on about how big of an impact this challenge has had on me. I and so thankful I did it and had Maria helping me along the way.”
