Kate Burton

Kate came to us with specific performance goals, with fat loss as a secondary priority. As a strong athlete who already moved a barbell well, her focus was dialing in gymnastics skills and improving her engine and endurance.

Over the past 16 months, coach Kelly has taken Kate through selective fat loss phases with intentional stopping points, including their most recent 8-week phase, followed by periods of maintenance to protect her results. Throughout, the focus stayed on the basics: consistent hydration, non-exercise movement, mobility work, and planning meals ahead of time.

The mental side has been just as big a win. Building consistency, learning to balance social events, and trusting the process.

Kate is down 12 lbs while her fitness has kept climbing. The highlight of her year was a quarterfinals performance that surprised even her.
