Apple Pie Protein Waffles
These apple pie protein waffles are my favorite weekend breakfast. Not only are they delicious and satisfying with plenty of fiber, but they are EASY too!
Ingredients
- WAFFLES
- 63g kodiak cake power cake mix
- 100g pumpkin
- 100g egg whites
- Splash of vanilla
- 1/4 cup water
- APPLE TOPPING
- 150g honey crisp apple, diced
- 30g sugar free syrup
- Dash of cinnamon
- Sprinkle of salt
- Splash of vanilla
- 1/4 cup water
- TOPPINGS
- 1 tbsp butter
- 30g sugar free syrup
Instructions

Pre-heat waffle iron.

Mix waffle ingredients in a bowl until smooth.

Pour batter into the waffle iron, makes 2 large waffles in a normal size iron.

Pre-heat a pan over medium heat and coat with some cooking spray.

Toss in diced apples and cook down until golden.

After you've reached golden, add in the rest of your ingredients and cook it down, simmer for 5-10 minutes on low until thick consistency (like apple pie filling).

Butter your waffles (1/2 tbsp on each), top with apple topping and additional syrup!
