That looks a lot different to everyone, but for me it means making my health #1, establishing a good relationship with food, maintaining better sleep habits, getting in daily movement, prioritizing injury rehab and prevention, and not eating like an a**hole 🤪.

Deciding to work with Emi and Black Iron Nutrition was the start I needed and has been invaluable, to say the least. I sustained an injury at the end of last year, but the guidance and encouragement I received was exactly what I needed to help me through not being able to work out like I wanted. In 12 weeks I lost weight, I lost inches, I lost body fat, and I gained so much knowledge!

Here are some of things I’ve learned in just a few short months:

  • Actions become habits

  • Food is fuel and will often dictate how you feel

  • Don’t underestimate the value of high quality H2O

  • Knowledge is power

  • Stress management is so important

  • Sleep is so underrated for body composition changes

  • Daily purposeful movement will make you feel good

  • Eating smart doesn’t equal restrictions

  • Clothes that fit are 🔥
