Nutrition Coach – Endurance Specialist

About the Role:
We’re currently hiring an experienced and passionate nutrition coach to join our Performance team. In this role, you’ll work 1:1 with clients through our remote nutrition coaching platform, providing personalized, habit-based guidance that supports their goals and lifestyle. We are currently looking to hire 1–2 coaches with a background or specialty in endurance sports to support our growing population of endurance clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Effectively onboard new clients by reviewing intake forms, identifying key goals, and clearly communicating your initial plan and coaching approach
Review client data on a weekly basis, including food logs, macronutrients, body metrics, progress photos, biofeedback, check in question replies, and habit tracking
Respond to weekly client check-ins with written or video feedback (based on client tier), offering personalized strategies, education, and encouragement
Maintain timely, consistent communication and deliver high-quality service across all client interactions
Monitor team Slack channels, check email regularly, and attend occasional required Zoom meetings
Uphold Black Iron Nutrition’s coaching standards and contribute to a collaborative team environment
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with nutrition clients in a 1:1 coaching capacity
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Self-motivated and comfortable managing a flexible remote workload independently
Passion for helping others and alignment with Black Iron’s values
Willingness to learn, grow, and stay current with evidence-based nutrition practices
Required Qualifications:
Degree and/or advanced certification(s) in sports nutrition
Multi-year nutrition coaching experience with endurance athletes
Are you a Registered Sports Dietitian licensed in multiple states?
We’re looking to expand our team of dietitians who offer Medical Nutrition Therapy calls to our client base across all 50 states. The more states you're licensed in, the more opportunities you'll have to provide dietitian-specific services to our clients. For example, Sam and Lauren are licensed in 24 and 36 states respectively, allowing them to work with clients nationwide. We're looking for a Registered Sports Dietitian who wants to deliver high-level, scope-specific care to endurance athletes all over the country.
Compensation & Benefits:
Commission-based W2 employment (part-time and full-time available)
