Spring Into Summer is a 3-month coaching offer that combines nutrition coaching and training support for people who want to feel more in shape for summer. Not aesthetically, but in the sense of being fit, healthy, and ready for the season ahead.
If you do not currently feel in shape enough to enjoy summer the way you want to, this is for you. You’ll get individualized nutrition guidance, a training plan that fits real life, and coaching that helps you build better habits, improved fitness, and more momentum without burning yourself into the ground before May. Nope! This is an optional courtesy service we provide for people who have questions before getting starting. You do not need to do the free call and can totally skip this step to get started.

Absolutely. If fat loss is one of your goals, we can support that without using extreme or unsustainable approaches. In many cases, fat loss is the byproduct of consistently making better choices, improving your nutrition, increasing your movement, and building habits you can actually stick with. The goal here is not to crash diet for summer, but to create real momentum that helps you feel better in your body and your life.

Yes! Just fill out the sign-up form and submit payment for the 3-month package. Any remaining time on your current subscription will be added back once the 3 months is up, and you’ll return to your current service and pricing.

No, macro tracking is optional. If tracking isn’t a good fit or you want a break from it, your coach will use other methods to ensure you’re eating an appropriate amount to support your goals, lifestyle, and movement.

You’ll create a profile and complete a very detailed questionnaire. This helps your coach tailor a custom plan and starting point that makes sense for you and delivers the results you want. Within 1-2 business days of submitting the form, your coach will reach out with a personal welcome message or video, and a starting point with your nutrition and habits.

If you're a Black Iron Training client and would like to take advantage of this offer, we can pause your current training subscription for the 3-month duration. Once the 3 months is up, your training subscription will reactivate at your current rate.

You’ll fill out a form that gives Chris and Krissy everything they need to build your custom 3-month training program in our app.
They’ll build your first week based on your schedule, goals, available equipment and terrain, current fitness level, and training background. Once you approve it, they’ll build out and progress the rest.
This is a fully customized lifting and endurance plan built around your real life. It does not include ongoing coaching or direct communication with Chris and Krissy, but you’ll still have access to them in the community forums if you have questions or need support.

When you sign up, you’ll fill out an intake form about your goals, background, and time availability. From there, we will handpick the best program combination so you’re set up with the right balance of structure, challenge, and sustainability. Use our community forum to ask questions, share wins, and stay consistent.
Our lifting programs run 2-5 days per week and our running programs run 3-5 days per week. We’ll combine the two in a way that makes sense for your experience, preferences, goals, and time availability, so your training feels intentional, not overwhelming.
Our lifting and running programs are built to complement each other, so you can pair them seamlessly. Not into a structured running block? No problem, use the workouts from our in-app Toolkit to add your own conditioning or cardio of choice. And if you ever want more volume, you can pull extra sessions from the Toolkit, which includes hundreds of conditioning workouts you can plug in anytime.

Spring Into Summer is built to give you a strong 3-month runway into summer. After that, you can either continue as a month-to-month nutrition and/or training client at a discounted rate or wrap things up and move forward on your own.
There’s no long-term commitment beyond the initial three months. The goal is to help you build meaningful progress, and then give you the option to keep that momentum going with continued support if you want it.
If you’re a current client, you’ll revert back to whatever service and pricing you are currently on.

Your coach can see your food diary, macros (if applicable), habit tracking, and your responses to the weekly check-in questions. If you connect a fitness or health tracking device (such as a watch or ring), your coach can also see data like sleep, steps, resting heart rate, HRV, and other metrics provided by that device or app.
You also have the option to share body weight, measurements, body fat percentage, and/or progress photos. All of these are completely optional and never required.

Once you become a client, you can book a Zoom call with your coach for an additional fee through your client portal in the app or browser anytime. If you’d like ongoing support, you also have the option to add monthly Zoom calls with your coach upon sign up. Clients who commit to monthly calls receive a discounted rate compared to booking individual sessions.
Clients who live in certain states also have to option to book medical therapy calls with one of our team dietitians.

Absolutely. We have a good fit policy, meaning if you think there’s a better fit for you on our team, we’ll move you to a different coach with no stress or fuss. All your client data will stay with your account for your new coach to see.
