RACHEL KEELE
she/her
Rachel describes herself as a reformed couch-potato and believes if she can discover a passion for health and fitness, anyone can! In 2016, Rachel survived a stroke, initially losing much of her mobility, including the ability to walk. Thanks to physical therapy, scaled workouts, her faith and the incredible support of her family and friends, she competed in the 2017 CrossFit Open just one year later.
Rachel has been a fitness trainer since 2015, as a CFL1 and 2, personal trainer, and instructor for HIIT, dance, rhythmic cycling, mobility, bungee and more. She loves spending time with her husband and dog, and all things related to food (recipe development, cooking, eating in and out, etc.).
Rachel is passionate about using evidence-based practices to help clients build better habits and improve their relationship with food. She believes it’s far more important to focus on what you DO eat and not what you don’t. Her favorite moments are when clients begin to realize that small, simple adjustments are more effective than overnight 180 degree changes, and she’s incredibly thankful to journey with people for a living.
