After coming from a background of being a competitive swimmer and then triathlete I always saw myself as skinny. When I started weight lifting all I wanted to do was look and be strong and I knew that was never going to happen without gaining weight. I started calculating and tracking my macros when I started weightlifting and put on over 10kg in 2 years. I learned so much about my body during that time but was always unhappy with my body composition and then I found BIN.

After a year and a half with BIN and my amazing coach Ashley, I’m currently in my second mass and can honestly say I love gaining weight! I’m currently heavier, leaner and stronger than I’ve ever been in my life. I’m also way more confident than ever because my body can do things I never thought it could (including eating 3000+ calories a day!). Throughout this whole process BIN has taught me how to be flexible with my diet and make it work around my life rather than my life revolving around my diet.

To anyone out there who hates or is scared of gaining weight, gaining weight isn’t scary when it comes with so many benefits and you have an awesome coach to guide you through it. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.
